Seven Card Stud texasholdum is the game that most poker players learned first and it needs very little explanation. Each player is dealt two hole cards and one upcard before the first betting round. The texasholdum next three cards are dealt face up with a round of betting after each card and the last card is dealt face down followed by a final round of betting. There are five betting rounds in Seven Card Stud Poker (4 rounds of betting in holdem and Omaha). Each player has his own hand (no community cards) and each player texasholdum can see the other players' upcards. The best poker hand wins the pot.

The high/low split rule makes this traditional poker game even more texasholdum interesting. The rules for splitting the pot are the same as Omaha High/Low Split Poker. You need five cards that are 8 or less to be eligible to win the low half of the pot. The ace is the highest texasholdum card in the deck and it counts as 1 for low.
Some Standard Rules Of texasholdum
A maximum of four bets(one bet and three raises) are allowed for each betting texasholdum round. The term "cap" is used to describe the final raise in a round since betting is then capped and no more raises are allowed. Once capped, players will have texasholdum the option of calling or folding only.
Folding can be done at any stage of the game. The action of folding shows the player's cards being moved to the dealer. Folded players are not eligible to win any of the money in the pot.
A player also has the option to "check" or pass without texasholdum placing a bet. This option is not always available to the player, and depends on the actions taken by the texasholdum previous player in the hand. The player must equal the amount of the bets placed by any other players texasholdum for each round in the hand.
Poker is texasholdum typically played "table stakes", meaning that a player texasholdum cannot get additional funds from the cashier while in the midst of a poker hand. The table texasholdum stakes rule has an application called the "all in" rule, which states that a player cannot be forced to forfeit a hand because the player texasholdum does not have enough chips to call a bet.
A player who texasholdum does not have enough chips to call a bet is declared "all in". The all in player is eligible to win the portion of the pot up to the point of his final wager (the main pot). All further action involving other texasholdum players goes into a "side pot". The all in player is not eligible to win any of the money in the side pot. If more than one player goes all in at different times during the play of the hand texasholdum, there will be more than one side pot.
All players are texasholdum expected to make their decision and play within 30 seconds. After 10 seconds, a timer countdown will be displayed on the table for 20 seconds. After that, the texasholdum player's hand will be folded unless the player has been disconnected.

If a player becomes disconnected texasholdum during the play of a hand, the player will be given an additional 20 seconds texasholdum to reestablish the connection. If the player cannot reconnect, the player will be texasholdum declared "all in".
